One ticket sold in Maine is set to beat Friday the 13th’s spooky odds and claim the Mega Millions jackpot of around $1.35 billion. said the lottery.
Friday night’s winning numbers were 30-43-45-46-61 and Mega Ball was 14.
The estimated jackpot with annuity is worth $1.35 billion, with a potential lump sum payout of $724.6 million, according to officials.
“Congratulations to Maine Lottery, who just won the first-ever Mega Millions jackpot,” said the Ohio lottery director. Mega Millions Consortium“This is the fourth billion dollar jackpot in Mega Millions history.”
Friday’s jackpot was Mega Millions second largest ever, just surpassed the lottery record of 1.537 billion won in South Carolina in 2018, the lottery said. The jackpot amount has nearly climbed over the last three months, and eventually he crossed the staggering $1 billion figure.
Six jackpot wins were won on Friday the 13th in the US before this month’s win, according to Mega Millions.
Other big winners in Friday’s draw include 14 tickets with a prize of $1 million, according to Mega Millions.
