Fifa selects 19 African match officials for 2023 Women's World Cup | Goal.com


The listing of appointed referees representing the Confederation of African Soccer for the following match has been launched

Fifa introduced the number of 19 referees to signify Africa within the 2023 Girls’s World Cup billed for Australia and New Zealand.

The Confederation of African Soccer on Friday confirmed that the match officers have been drawn from 15 member associations.

The 19 match officers are comprised of eight referees and 11 assistant referees and are among the many 156 referees and assistant referees chosen for the ladies’s showpiece.

The referees embrace Salima Mukansanga (Rwanda), Lidya Tafesse Abebe (Ethiopia), Maria Rivet (Mauritius), Bouchra Karboubi (Morocco), Ndidi Persistence Madu (Nigeria), Vincentia Amedome (Togo), Fatou Thioune (Senegal) and Dorsaf Ganouati (Tunisia).

On the assistant referees’ listing are Mary Njoroge (Kenya), Lidwine Rakotozafinoro (Madagascar), Bernadettar Kwimbira (Malawi), Queency Victoire (Mauritius) and Diana Chikotesha (Zambia).

Different chosen assistant referees are Mimisen Iyorhe (Nigeria), Fatiha Jermoumi (Morocco), Fanta Kone (Mali), Carine Atezambong Fomo (Cameroon) and Yara Atef Mentioned Abdelfattah (Egypt).

In France, seven-match officers signify Africa, comprising of three referees and 4 assistant referees throughout the 2019 version.

Tafesse (Ethiopia) Lengwe (Zambia) Mukansanga (Rwanda) have been referees, whereas Kwimbira (Malawi) Njoroge (Kenya) Rakotozafinoro (Madagascar) Victoire (Mauritius) have been assistant referees.

The 2023 Girls’s World Cup will function 32 groups for the primary time and is scheduled to be staged from 10 July – 20 August in 13 proposed venues of 12 host cities in Australia and New Zealand.
