Australia eyes top three spot in APAC colocation services market share

Australia is about to account for 9 per cent of colocation providers income within the Asia Pacific area by 2024, with the region-wide market forecast to achieve US$9.7 billion in whole. 

That is in accordance with analysis agency GlobalData, which claimed that the slated success within the colocation providers market stems from rising demand for knowledge centres for social media platforms, international cloud suppliers, media content material and video streaming, e-commerce platforms and banking providers. 

Driving this development, the analysis agency stated, is the rising use of social media, penetration of smartphones, a rising web inhabitants, the adoption of hybrid and public cloud providers and the necessity for enterprises emigrate from a server room setting to knowledge centres. 

“Digital enterprise continues to redefine the interplay relationships between the service suppliers and end-users with the engaged entities transacting both consistently or sporadically. Components like digital improvements and technological developments are augmenting the expansion of information in numerous industries, stated Sunil Jumar Verma, lead ICT analyst at GlobalData.
